These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SimFlyMinimums (the "Service"), provided by ASTROLÁBIO4FUN - UNIPESSOAL LIMITADA, a company registered in Portugal ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using SimFlyMinimums, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What SimFlyMinimums is
SimFlyMinimums is a companion application for flight simulators (Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, Prepar3D). It provides a moving map, phase-aware checklists, an AI First Officer, flight recording and reports, a rules engine, and chart viewing, by connecting to your simulator on your own computer.
Not for real-world navigation
SimFlyMinimums is entertainment and simulation software. It is not certified, approved, or intended for use in the operation of a real aircraft, for real-world flight planning, or for any real-world aeronautical decision-making. Aeronautical data, charts, procedures, and calculations shown in the Service — including any sourced from AIRAC/CIFP navigation data, government charts, or AI-generated text — may be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate, and must never be relied upon for actual flight. You are solely responsible for verifying any information against current, official sources before any real-world use.
Licensing & devices
To download SimFlyMinimums you register on the website with your e-mail address, confirmed by a one-time code (there is no password). The app itself has no login: your installation is identified by a device identifier generated locally, and your subscription tier (Free, Trial, or Premium) is enforced against that identifier by our licensing service.
- Trial — a new installation may start one 14-day Trial per device, with Premium-equivalent access subject to usage caps on select features. No payment details are required to start a Trial. The Trial does not convert automatically to a paid subscription. After 14 days, the app returns to the Free tier unless you choose to subscribe.
- Premium — one subscription may be used on multiple personal devices belonging to the same user. You may install SimFlyMinimums on more than one device. Sharing a subscription with other people is not permitted. For help activating Premium on your devices, contact novreis@simflyminimums.com.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SimFlyMinimums for your own flight simulation use. You may not resell, redistribute, share your license outside your own personal use, or reverse-engineer the application, except where permitted by law.
Subscriptions & billing
- Premium is offered as a monthly or annual subscription at the prices shown on the Pricing page.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Paddle calculates applicable VAT and other sales taxes based on your location. The final total, including any applicable taxes, is displayed at checkout before you confirm payment.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record (MoR) for all orders placed through SimFlyMinimums, and handles payment collection, tax/VAT, invoicing, and refunds on our behalf. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
AI features (First Officer, Chat, missed-approach chart extraction) and map providers (MapTiler, Azure Maps) require your own third-party API keys, entered and stored locally on your own computer. When you use these features, your request goes directly from your machine to that provider using your own key — we do not proxy, receive, or store this traffic. You are responsible for your use of those services and any costs they incur.
Third-party terms are outside our control. MapTiler, Azure Maps, Azure Speech, OpenAI, Google Gemini, FlightRadar24, SimBrief, and any other third-party provider integrated into or suggested by the Service may change their own pricing, features, availability, rate limits, or terms of service — or discontinue their service entirely — at any time, at their own discretion. Neither ASTROLÁBIO4FUN - UNIPESSOAL LIMITADA nor Paddle.com is responsible or liable for any such change, and we do not guarantee that any given third-party integration will continue to work, remain free, or remain on the same terms in the future. If a change to a third-party's terms affects a feature you rely on, that is not, on its own, grounds for a refund (see our Refund and Cancellation Policy).
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the application, attempt to bypass its licensing or usage-quota mechanisms, interfere with its operation or the third-party services it connects to, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, subject to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Disclaimer & liability
SimFlyMinimums is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither ASTROLÁBIO4FUN - UNIPESSOAL LIMITADA nor Paddle.com is liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for any loss of data, or for any change, discontinuation, or unavailability of a third-party service the Service integrates with or suggests, arising from your use of the application. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence may also apply and take precedence where more favorable to you.
